PREMIER PRESENTATION SERVICES – EQUIPMENT HIRE

Terms and Conditions

                               

1.        The customer shall during the continuance of the hire pay to Premier Presentation Services (PPS) at its current address and without previous demand by way of rent for the hire of the equipment the sums referred to in the current issue of our Hire Rate Card.

2.        For all invoices issued by (PPS) to the customer, payment shall be received no later than at the end of the hire period or thirty days from the invoice date whichever is earlier. The company reserves the right to charge interest at 2% per calendar month (or part of) for any period exceeding the thirty days allowed until the company has received the full payment.

3.        The customer during the continuance of the hire will not sell, assign, mortgage, pledge, sublet, lend or otherwise deal with the said equipment or any parts thereof or with an interest therein or in this agreement but will keep the said equipment whether for repair or otherwise, except as detailed in paragraph 4

4.        Hotels may sublet equipment on hire from (PPS) provided the equipment does not leave the hotel premises at any time during the continuance of the hire and that all precautions are taken to ensure the safekeeping of the equipment.

5.        Hired equipment must not be used on any abnormal or hazardous assignment, taken out of the U.K. from the ground other than a scheduled flight.

6.        The customer shall use the equipment in a skilful and proper manner in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and at his own expense keep the same in good and substantial repair and condition (reasonable wear and tear excepted) and will indemnify (PPS) in respect of any loss or damage to the said equipment.

7.        The customer will not open the outer case (if any) of the equipment or any item of part thereof nor interfere in any way with the mechanism thereof expose the same to the elements or place the equipment in any adverse environments and will keep the same protected in all respects.

8.        Equipment supplied on the hire by (PPS) shall be fit to perform the manufacturers intended purpose and the customer admits that he has had an opportunity of examining the equipment before accepting delivery thereof and therefore accepts that the equipment supplied is in good working order and performing to the manufacturers specifications unless demonstrated otherwise at the time by the customer. In the event of a fault the customer must notify the company immediately who will repair or replace the defective equipment as soon as is practically possible subject to availability.

9.        (PPS) shall not be liable in any way for the loss, damage, loss of profits, or of contacts or any other consequential loss of any kind suffered by the customer or any third party, and any delay, late delivery, defect of deficiency of or relating to any equipment or ancillaries thereto or a delay in equipment or ancillaries being available, or any failure, error or mistake by technicians provided by the company.

10.     The termination of any hire under and clause of these Terms and Conditions of Hire shall not effect the right of the (PPS) to recover from the customer any monies due to the company at the date of such termination or to recover damages in respect of any breach by the customer under this agreement.

11.     Any time or other indulgence granted by (PPS) to the customer shall not affect the rights of the company under this agreement.

12.     It is the responsibility of the customer to arrange adequate insurance cover for the equipment and any claims by the company in respect of loss or damage the same against the customer must be met in full by the customer. (PPS) reserves the right to insist that the customer insures the equipment against all risks at the customer’s own expense and that the evidence of the same is provided for inspection by the company.Equipment will remain at the address it was delivered to by (PPS). Permission must be obtained from (PPS) before the customer transports the equipment to any different location and the customer must notify (PPS) of all movement of equipment and places of keeping.

13.     Delivery and collection will be arranged by (PPS) at a cost of £25 exc VAT. Goods are delivered and collected by courier service. Premier Presentation Services does not offer a set-up or installation service unless in the Newport/Cardiff areas of South East Wales.

14.     The customer shall not affix any labels or mark the equipment in any way and shall not remove, deface or obscure any such labels affixed to the equipment by Premier Presentation Services.

15.     In the event of a cancellation of a hire by the customer, (PPS) reserves the right to make the following charges: Less than 48 hours 75% of Total Hire Charge. On or after deliver - 100% of Total Hire Charge

16.     This agreement shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the Laws of England.
